Meet the Team
The people who make Lavender Fields feel like home.
We’re proud to have a close-knit, experienced team, not just carers and managers, but real individuals who bring warmth, humour, and heart to every part of life here.
Our staff bring years of care experience, and many are committed to building familiarity and trust here at Lavender Fields. That stability means familiar faces, deeper trust, and support that doesn’t start from scratch each day.
We take time to get to know every resident, not just their care needs, but their stories, preferences, and the little things that matter.
Built on Experience, and Heart
Our team includes qualified carers, wellbeing coordinators, chefs, grounds staff and support workers, all working together to offer joined-up care and a settled rhythm of life.
We also have in-house leadership who are actively involved in the day-to-day, not just names on the website.

At Lavender Fields, no one works in isolation. We believe the best care comes from people who support each other as well as those they look after.
We share knowledge, lift each other up, and always look for ways to improve.
It’s a Team Effort. Always.

Chris Mitchell
CHAIRMAN
Chris is the heart behind Lavender Fields. With a degree in Dementia Studies and a vision to create a care village that feels like home, not a facility, he has been hands-on from the very start. Chris believes that growing older should never mean losing joy, community or dignity, and his warmth, humour and commitment can be felt in every part of the Village.

Anthony Mitchell
CEO
Anthony plays a hands-on role in the day-to-day running of Lavender Fields. As Chris’s son, he’s been part of the journey from the very beginning, helping to bring his father’s vision to life. With a background in operations and a genuine love for the community here, Anthony ensures every part of the Village runs with care, attention and heart.

Leanne Hatch
CARE MANAGER
Leanne brings both professional expertise and a deeply personal touch to her role. With years of experience in care, she supports residents, families and staff alike with warmth and dedication. Whether it’s helping to coordinate personalised care or simply offering a kind word, Leanne is a reassuring presence at the heart of the team.

Dawn Moore
HEAD OF COMMISSIONING AND LEGAL SUPPORT
Dawn, a qualified Solicitor with over 17 years’ experience, combines legal expertise with a genuine passion for care. Having advised families on issues such as mental capacity, care funding and social care law, and with early hands-on experience as a carer, Dawn brings both insight and empathy. She helps ensure every resident is supported with dignity, respect and the reassurance of strong legal foundations.
What Makes Our Team Special?
“I don’t think getting older means slowing down. I wanted Lavender Fields to feel like a real village, full of life, laughter, good food and people you know by name.”
