FAQs

Questions are always welcome.

We know care decisions come with a lot of questions, some big, some small, and some that feel too awkward to ask. That’s why we’ve included honest answers to the things families most often want to know.

And if you can’t find what you’re looking for, we’re just a phone call away.

Can I visit before making a decision?

Absolutely. In fact, we recommend it. We’re always happy to show you around, whether you’re visiting on behalf of someone else or exploring for yourself.

How do I know what kind of care is needed?

You don’t have to decide that alone. We’ll talk you through it and help assess what kind of support would suit you best. And if things change over time, we’ll adjust.

What if I’m not ready yet?

That’s completely fine. Many people come for a short stay or a visit first. You’re welcome to explore, ask questions, or just see how it feels, no pressure.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is the same weekly fee, covering all care needs and accommodation, with annual April reviews. Visit our Pricing page or contact us for a simple, personalised quote with no hidden extras.

Do you accept couples?

Yes, we support couples living together in our bungalows or in adjoining rooms in the care home.

Can I bring my own furniture or items?

Yes, and we encourage it. Your room is your space, and we’ll help make it feel like home.

Do you provide dementia care?

Yes. We offer calm dementia support in a familiar environment, with experienced staff and no need to move elsewhere if care needs change.

Can I keep my own GP?

Most residents register with Elvington Medical a local Practice.

Can I bring a pet?

We love animals, and although we can’t always accommodate pets in every setting, we’ll do what we can. Visits from pets are always welcome. We don’t offer long-term pet stays.

How do I get started?

Just get in touch. We’ll talk through what you’re looking for, arrange a visit if you’d like one, and help you take the next step when the time is right.

Have a question that’s not listed here?

We’re always happy to chat, whether you're at the start of the journey or further along.
